Well, we just got back from our trip. We didn't stray more than 40
miles from our home base this time out. Wildlife report - many deer,
two antlered, the usual coterie of squirrels and scavenger birds, six
bees, but no tics or bears, thank goodness! There was also a faint but
pervasive smell that dissipated when we tracked it down. We didn't
have time to make it to Monticello this trip but we eagerly anticipate
a future visit.
